The Monkey Gallery Dining in Saigon offers a 10-course fine-dining experience inspired by street food, and it’s truly worth trying!

It starts with Shaked Mango – mango jelly with passion fruit sauce, accentuated by fish sauce and chili salt, followed by Fried Dough – crispy fried dough topped with mayo sauce, scallion oil, and edible flowers, a unique flavor combination.

My favorite was the Wagyu A4 beef wrapped in betel leaves, served with crispy crackers and caviar – absolutely outstanding. The lobster with shrimp roe sauce was equally impressive, while the coconut jelly mousse with kumquat jam was irresistible.

The braised lamb tripe with mustard sauce was surprisingly easy to enjoy and paired perfectly with bread. Finally, the caramelized banana served with durian-cashew chocolate was a delightful treat for durian lovers.

To wrap up the meal, the restaurant gifted a box of Earl Grey nama chocolates – a truly impressive!
